Granular Activated Carbon (Gac) (Coconut Base)
Coconut shell granular activated is used specifically in air and vapor filters for eliminating odors and toxic vapors. Granular activated charcoal can also be placed in free low containers to adsorb offensive or unpleasant odors in confined areas; one of the most common applications for activated carbon is the reduction of the undesirable tastes and odors present in many chlorinated water supplies. Activated carbon has been successful for many years in the reduction of free chlorine from water supplies. The product is clean, fresh water with no objectionable taste or odor characteristics.
